Camera manual

These are the tools I used to ink in my drawings: black ink and a dip pen.




I drew quite a few different styles of cameras. Here's a picture of a drawing that wasn't very good.


After drawing all my symbols in pencil I then inked them to make them bolder for when I scanned them in.
After experimenting with lots of different styles of cameras, I eventually decided to use this one for my manual.

After scanning in my inked drawings, I adjusted the levels to make them black and white as the scanner made my drawings look quite grey.




























I then arranged my front and back drawings of a camera so that they would be the front and back page of my manual.






























Next, I started adding in all of my hand drawn symbols, changing the opacity of some of them.

Next, I added text which was information on all the camera symbols I had drawn.

This is the text I decided to use for my manual, it's called Linowrite.




















And Finally I added colour and was ready to print.

After cutting out my manual using a cutting board and a craft knife, this is the end result:
